It is improper to use this herb in cases of deficiency of qi and yin, consumptivefever with profuse sweat, headache due to hyperactivity of the liver-yang, and profuse menstruation.
This herb should be used with care by anyone with hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency or anyone suffering from hyperhidrosis or menorrhagia.
