Definition:Rhizoma Curcumae Longae is the dried rhizome of Curcuma longa L. (Zingiberaceae).
Dried rhizomes of Curcuma wenyujin Y.H. Lee et C. Ling, C. kwangsiensis S. Lee et C.F. Liang. and C. phaeocaulis Val. are also official sources of Radix Curcumae or Turmeric Root-Tuber in China.
