 Mantis egg-case is used with herbs for nourishing the kidney and supporting yang, consolidating the kidney and preserving qi such as Cornu Cerri Pantotrichum, Radix Morindae

 Officinalis, Semen Astragali Complanati, Fructus Schisandrae, Cortex Eucommia ulmoides oliv., etc.
